What Type of shower doors may I use?

 Many – framed doors, frameless doors, pivot doors, bypass doors, or solid stationary glass. 

Does this shower base have a threshold or a curb?

No, this is a curbless presloped shower base that is 1-1/8” thick.

Can the shower base be installed flushed to my floor?

The shower bases are 1-1/8” high for easy entry. However ,yes it may be installed flush to floor.

Can the Shower Pan Base be cut or trimmed?

Yes. CASTICO Signature Series Pan Bases can be trimmed up to 1 ½ inches on each side. You can view helpful installation videos along with our instruction guides on our Support page for more information on trimming.  

Can the Shower Walls cut or trimmed?

Yes! Our solid composite shower walls can be trimmed and cut to support a variety of shower designs and accessories. For more information on trimming, you can view helpful installation videos along with our instruction guides on our Support page.

What kind of saw blade is recommended for trimming?

Our products can easily be trimmed using a tile saw or circular saw with a diamond or fine-tooth blade. Helpful installation videos demonstrating how to trim our products are available on our Installation Support page.

When installing a CASTICO Signature Series shower base may I select any choice of wall tile?

Yes, you may select any suitable wall tile to be paired with a CASTICO shower base.

Can a shower kit be ordered with a different shower pan model?

Our Shower Kits are curated to pair our most popular pan base colors and sizes with coordinating wall designs. To view available combinations, please visit our Products page. Available options and styles can also be viewed on HomeDepot.com.

Something is missing from my package contents. What can I do?

What drain is recommended for the installation?

Our shower pan bases are compatible with select standard 2-inch drains, such as the OATEY Shower Drain with 4 ¼ inch round snap (Home Depot SKU#: 1003316826).

Can I use construction adhesive?

Yes. Polyurethane construction adhesive or polymer-modified thin-set can be used to install our shower pan bases and walls.

Will the shower base work as a handicap shower, and hold up the weight of a wheelchair?

The shower base has a low-profile entry of 1-1/8” that can be installed flushed to the floor or you can tile up to the shower pan/base for a zero entry ADA compliant shower. Yes, it can hold the weight of a wheelchair.

My shower has an entry on the side. Can I get extra flanges for this?

Yes! Our Narrow Entry Flange Kits are available for purchase on our Products page under Accessories and come in several sizes.

Are additional wall panels available for purchase?

Wall panels are available for purchase at select Home Depot locations. For purchasing information and locations, visit our Products page.

Can I add shelves to CASTICO Signature Series shower walls?

Yes, Castico Signature Series Shower Walls can be drilled into for installation of accessories.

Is stainless steel the only color available for the drain plate?

All of our shower pan bases include a stainless steel drain plate. Additional colors can be purchased separately on our Products page. 

What if I received a broken item?
